Security and privacy are vitally important aspects of medical answering services. In order to ensure we are properly serving our medical clients, Answer Syracuse offers HIPAA-compliant medical answering services and secure messaging services that guard Protected Health Information (PHI). From our entry-level answering service representative to our CEO, all Answer Syracuse staff must pass a HIPAA exam and comply with Answer Syracuse’s high standards of confidentiality.
Through extensive research and programming, Answer Syracuse has developed a secure messaging system to securely send PHI via text message or via computer. Through our partnership with qliqSOFT™, Answer Syracuse offers a convenient, confidential secure messaging service backed by our industry-leading physical and technical protections and redundant backup systems.
Our secure messaging service works with smartphones and computers to transfer text messages and PHI in a manner that is fully compliant with HIPAA and HITECH standards. From initial setup and testing to ongoing support and managing changes to your member group, Answer Syracuse can manage all aspects of the secure messaging service for you and your staff. We can even remotely wipe or lock a phone if it is lost or stolen!
Once we’ve set up a member group for your providers who need secure messaging, your providers each download the qliqCONNECT smartphone app from either the iOS App Store or Google Play or the PC/Mac app from qliqSOFT.com. Once signed in, Answer Syracuse can securely send messages through the qliqCONNECT app. The app ensures no message is overlooked by notifying the designated person until the message is acknowledged. Once the message is acknowledged, the app will automatically verify the messages have been received; you no longer need to call us back to confirm.
“YAY! I’ve been checking in with our clients, and they all say you’re super professional and thorough. We have such a happy, upbeat clientele base, so it’s nice to know they have been greeted that way even if it’s not by our therapists directly. They really appreciate hearing a smiling voice on the other end of the phone.”
